Space News From A Space Newb

Hello! Greetings and salutations everyone!

I'm Rob, and I am a huge tech and pop culture nerd. The team over at Live Launch invited me to contribute to the site and I jumped at the opportunity because Space and aeronautics have always interested me. For as long as I can remember, the prospect of the "great unknown" of space has always been a fascinating subject. Although, I'll be the first to admit I was introduced to space by way of Captain Picard and Luke Skywalker, instead of Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong.

Be that as it may, I believe that space is the one thing in our daily lives that can be a great unifier in a time where everything is so divisive. Space gives us the ability to maintain that childlike innocence many of us lost so long ago, and allows us to simply sit back and marvel at its vastness and unlimited possibilities. It is, after all, the one thing that we can truly never "fully" understand.

So, where do I stand in all of this?

Glad you asked. I'm stepping into the role of a contributor within Live Launch to provide the community with humor, news, and other engaging space-themed pieces. That's right, the guy that learned everything he knows about space from Star Trek and Marvel will be discussing it with you all fairly frequently. I'm here to learn and engage with everyone within the Live Launch community, and I look forward to hearing from you all!
